This dual silver and gold tone look is the result of a meticulous 11 part plating process that emulates the wax resist batik technique used to create traditional Balinese textiles. Every surface that remains silver must be carefully painted with a resist before plating and then removed. If the artist makes even a slight mistake while painting, the entire plating process must be repeated from the beginning. Enjoy these stunning beauties!
