All silver beads and components are sterling silver.

Our carved items are made from cow bone. This material is strictly a by-product. In Indonesia, when an animal is killed for food, every part of it is used, including the bones.

All the designs in this catalog are copyrighted. It is illegal to copy all or any part of a copyrighted piece. You may not reproduce our designs, but you can incorporate our components into your work in any way you wish and resell the completed jewelry under a private label.

DISCOUNTS:

On orders over $75, receive Free Ground Shipping or a discount on a faster shipping method.

We apply the largest applicable discount. Items that are already discounted are not eligible for additional discounts and do not count towards invoice total discounts.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:

We process orders in the order they are received, with expedited shipping methods receiving priority. For example, Overnight orders are processed first, then 2-Day orders, then 3-Day orders, then UPS Ground, US Priority Mail and International Express Mail. A UPS Ground order received at 10 am will be processed before a UPS Ground order received at 2 pm.

We always try to ship orders on the same or next day as received. However, depending on how busy we are, this is not always possible. Expedited orders must be received before 2 pm Pacific time if they are to go out the same day. Very occasionally, we unable to get expedited orders placed before 2 pm out the same day -please call to discuss if you absolutely need an order by a certain day.

After your order ships, your package should arrive...

UPS Ground: 5-7 business days (excluding weekends & holidays). We're located in California, so the farther you are from California, the longer your arrival time. During holidays, UPS has a modified schedule that can extend normal delivery times.
UPS 3-Day / Orange Label: three business days by 7:00 pm
UPS 2-Day / Blue Label: two business days by 7:00 pm
Overnight Saver / Red Label: Next business day by 7:00 pm Residential address, 3:00 pm Commercial address
Overnight Regular/ Red Label: Next business day by 5:00 pm Residential address, 12:00 noon Commercial address
U.S.P.S. International Express Mail: 3-7 days (excluding Sunday)
U.S. Priority Mail: 3-5 days (excluding Sunday)

UPS is not available for customers located in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam. Please select U.S. Priority Mail.

Canadian Customers: Due to customer feedback, we are no longer offering UPS Standard to Canada. Unpredictably high Customs duties, taxes and processing fees resulted in very high overall shipping costs. Please select U.S.P.S. International Express Mail for a flat rate of $40.

Please take care to correctly enter your shipping address. You are responsible for any fees incurred from UPS to correct your shipping address. We will charge the fees to the same credit card used to place your order.

If shipping an order on your own UPS or Fed Ex account, please call us to arrange the details. Orders shipping on your Fed Ex account must be placed before 12 pm Pacific time for same day shipping. Fed Ex Ground service is not available.

FAIR TRADE: Nina Designs has been practicing fair trade since long before there was a term for it. Why aren't we certified? In our experience, most Fair Trade organizations are set up to monitor worker collectives and don't have a way to accommodate private companies with a strong interest in the social welfare of their employees. In additional, these organizations have steep annual fees. We believe the funds are better spent on benefits for our staff in Bali than on administrative fees to an American organization. RETURN POLICY: Items may be returned for merchandise credit only within ten days of purchase. Merchandise must be in original condition and packed properly in a rigid box. Gemstones must be on original strand. No refunds.

Nina Designs is not responsible for postage on returned items.

Please understand that most of our items are made one at a time in Bali & Thailand, therefore we sometimes experience delays that leave us temporarily out of stock of certain items. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Out of stock items can take 4-6 weeks to come in. Please reorder at a later date.

GOLD: We have a growing selection of gold plated silver chain and satin finish gold earrings, clasps and other findings in stock. The gold plate vermeil is a satin finish with a 24 karat color. The plating process uses 98.5% pure gold and is a gem quality plating that is 40 micro inches thick. The plate is very reliable and extremely popular with our customers.
