Thank you, Juanita, for getting back to me. I only know of one company that carries the gold-dipped geodes; I wanted to find some others so I could do cost comparisons. By the way, I love the quality of all the pieces I have purchased from Nina Designs.

Hi Joan – There’s a company I often see at tradeshows that sells geodes that are lined in gold trim and topped with a bail, but I don’t recall their name. They do attend many of the InterGem tradeshows. My best suggestion is to scour a tradeshow or two. I bet you’d find geodes like that before long. Hope that helps.

I am presently looking for companies that carry gemstones that have been gold-dipped, meaning the backs and the edges of the gemstones have been dipped in either an 18K, 22K or 24K gold plating. Each gemstone generally has a gold bail made up of the same plating. Does anyone have the names of companies that sell these gemstones? I would greatly appreciate a response. Thank you!
