Leave a comment telling us what your current Nina Designs favorite is for a chance to win a fabulous pair of earrings. See below for details.

Nina: My pick is the Deco Rose pendant in gold vermeil. I wear it on a single sheer ribbon and always get compliments.

Juanita: This month my pick is this really handy little pinch pendant bail. I’m a big fan of front drilled stones and artisan pendants, so I use this pinch bail all the time. Plus, I love the curlicue design. It compliments so many of my designs.

Anna: Out of thousands of styles it is almost impossible to pick just one favorite. So I’ve decided upon this deceptively simple circle link. This large half hammered link offers endless possibilities for fabulous earrings, daring necklaces and, well… whatever you can imagine!

Emily: This handcarved “coral” branch pendant is my pick! It has an edgy and nature-inspired appeal that’s great for summer. Plus, it offers a lot of visual impact without a lot of actual weight- great for earrings!

Leah: Dragons are powerful and fierce, yet this little guy also manages to be elegant, fluid and actually cute at the same time!

Marcy: My pick is this large leaf pendant in gold vermeil. I love the detail on the gold leaves. I can imagine a lavish necklace using all the different gold leaves.

Clara: This teardrop pendant is a great shape for a necklace center piece and is big enough to stamp several lines of hand stamped text. What a great way to add your own personal touch to your jewelry!

Carly: The detail from front to back on this solid sterling silver mermaid pendant is simply beautiful. It is a perfect center piece for any combination of gems, pearls, silk, leather or chain.

Marisa: I’m a sucker for clever design and was struck by the versatility of this multi-directional, multi-hole spacer. I immediately purchased half a dozen that I plan to turn into chandelier components (the unique design allows you to hang jump rings from the bars sandwiched between the front and back panels), a pendant and to string between fine strands of sparkly, faceted gemstones. I can’t wait!

Stephanie: These Hill Tribe spacer beads are one of my all time favorites! A grown-up version of the paper beads I made when I was little. Keep an eye out… they’ll be available in Gold Plate soon!

Ruth: One of my favorite items is this simple but elegant spacer. I love them because they can be used with so many different styles and always add beautiful detail to any design.

Sonia: The silver butterfly reminds me of change as it evolves from a caterpillar to the butterfly; free to fly wherever she wishes.

These could be yours!

  1. One of my favorite Nina designs is the Sterling Silver Tag with Footprint because I just had a beautiful baby girl and I would love to make a necklace with her name and also make a necklace with my son’s name who passed away using this footprint tag. I also love the Sterling Silver Post Earring Finding with Jasmine Flower and Small Open Jump Ring. I could make my daughter some beautiful earrings with those. I love all of your designs they are so beautiful and elegant looking. I hope to win!

  2. I was pulling up my *previous* favorite item (Sterling Silver Large Key Charm) when I found my new favorite – the compass charm! To me, it’s about going places, moving on, changing and evolving. Also, it reminds me of the little compasses that used to come in Cracker Jack boxes – a small surprise that makes you smile all day. :)

  5. I love the Sterling Silver Rectangle Printed Songbird Charms. They are perfect to wear as a pair of earrings or a pendant. I like to blacked a round silver disc and layer with the printed songbird pendant. They are just beautiful.

  6. Luv the Teardrop Tai cast SS post earring w/floral motif & loop. This has such a victorian era look to it when a drop is added to the loop. Very pretty! Luv the Victorian look!

  7. I have to with Carly’s pick – I just love the seahorse charm!

  8. My favorite would have to be your “Live Love Laugh” collection. I first heard “Live well, Love much, Laugh often” quoted in the eulogy poem of one of my dear teacher friends. Later I found name labels with that quote for my husband and me. He died suddenly April 15,2010 — I am so glad that was the way we lived our almost 26 years together . . .

  9. I love the sand dollar charm. It looks great with mother of pearl discs and it reminds me of trips to the beach with my family and my wonderful trip to Maui last year with my husband.

  10. My favorite is the Hammered Marquis-shaped Link. I love its graceful shape. Like the circle link Anna chose, it is very versatile and adds grace to any design it is in.

  11. I just received my order. I’m loving the “gear” charms.

  12. My favorite design secret weapon is the open link silver finished chain UCH186. Opening the jump ring on a silver charm and attaching the charm to a link in the chain allows me to combine several charms on a necklace without them sliding together and overlapping. Shhh! Don’t tell!
