The care and the detail that went into the design of this silver feather pendant is impeccable. The stem of the feather pendant and its textured ribbed detailing is quite lifelike. What’s even better is the little part in the feather’s tip specifically designed so that you, the designer, can choose to use it two ways. You can either dangle it vertically, or horizontally from the hidden pendant bail and the little part in the feather. How ingenious.
I also love the bohemian spirit and symbolism of feathers that revolves around ascension and spiritual evolution to a higher plane. Feathers were worn not only by Native American Chiefs, but also Celtic Druids and Egyptians to symbolize their communication with Spirits, to express their celestial wisdom, and to represent the power of air, wind, & thunder gods. In the necklace I designed with the feather pendant lying horizontally I included little turquoise beads to represent the heavens and the green idocrase briolette to represent earth. I am happy with the look of this necklace and its symbolic meaning.
If you’re not into the bohemian, hippie chick thing, this feather can also take on a Victorian look. And when worn long it becomes quite poetic and writerly. Maybe because it reminds me of a feather quill pen. Whichever way you choose to use this feather, you’ll love it. We’ve had it in stock for two days now, and already we’re getting wonderful critiques from our customers. Peggy Li from Peggy Li Creations wrote: Uh, your new designs are bananas. Love the feathers!

I love the detail in this feather. There are so many different ways it can be used and incorporated into different styles.
