Silver Jewelry Findings Help Clean Up the Oil Spill in the Gulf Coast

We think it’s wonderful that silver jewelry findings can help support the efforts to restore the Gulf Coast. Thanks so much to all you Nina Designs fans for inviting your friends to join us on Facebook and supporting the Environmental Defense Fund. We added almost 1000 new friends and fellow designers to our community as a result of your efforts. In return, Nina Designs is sending a check for $1000 to help support the Environmental Defense Fund and their team of wetlands experts in the Gulf Coast who are working so hard to repair the damage and restore coastal Louisiana.

  1. Hello:)

I am happy that there are others who are designing and donating their pieces to clean up our planet…

I took the train from Det to Fox Lake Illinoise so I could attend the Beads and Buttons show, just so I could purchase items and get good ideas as I want to sell a lot of my jewelery and donate a LARGE portion to the oil spill…

I almost didn’t go, because of the 7 hour train thing,I actually cancelled,,,couldn’t sleep the whole night and the next day realized that God was nagging me to go, so I went:) and I’m glad I did.. I met some GREAT people, told them my intentions…I even have a seperate acc. in another bank just for the animals..the frogs, toads, birds..I’m trying to stick to the natural theme as well with my designs (NO BLING)…Whats funny is I have NEVER really made jewelery…
I collect rocks.which has been helpful,as everything is made of PURE Materials..If im not sure I use my Hematite magnet to test the findings…anyway all this passion has been comming to me wheather I want it to or not..
    Thats GOD!!!!and that’s fine, He’s finally speaking to me,LOUDLY…and I am listening..

    The Ideas pages really help…

So COOL!!!! I just wanted to say I am happy others are doing this as well, maybe more business’s will catch on, and not as many little animals will be harmed…

Thanks for giving me an outlet to voice what has been going on..
Also thanks for the beautiful pieces that you sell…it helps a lot..

    Warmest regards,and reverence

    Cheryl
