Here’s this month’s prize & inspiration:

Inspiration: Klimt’s Under the Tree of Life
Okay – now let’s get to the voting. July submissions are shown below with titles and inspiration. Use the Polling Form at the bottom to vote for your favorite.
Inspiration: I love spirals and “curlycues,” and I also love pearls. The shapes and colors in Klimt’s “Under The Tree of Life” were just the right stimulus to inspire me to make this “curly pearly” tree bracelet.
Inspiration: The beautiful bronzes and deep blues of Klimt’s Under the Tree of Life was the inspiration for my Bird of Life necklace. Nina Designs’ silk cord, jewelry components, apatite stones and antique glass beads helped me evoke the swirling branches and whimsical residents of Klimt’s tree.

Indian Summer Necklace
Inspiration:
For me, Klimt’s Tree of Life painting brought to mind the riotous colors that typically come with Ohio’s Indian Summers and I was inspired to capture all those luscious autumn hues into this lariat along with a whimsical little owl to mirror the birds perched in the tree of the painting.
