Blog Partnership :: September 2012

September’s blog partners did an amazing job using Nina Designs bronze jewelry findings, deer hide leather, and silk ribbons in their designs.  This month’s bounty of designs were not only inspiring but extremely impressive.

Kathy Lindemer’s jewelry, of Bay Moon Designs, has a light and dreamy quality.  We love how flawlessly she incorporated the bronze lotus charm with the silk ribbon.

  In Kathy’s own words, “ Most of the inspirations for my jewelry come from nature, using  one of the most delicate and beautiful flowers of mother nature is a good fit for me .   The lotus has long been associated with purity, rebirth and beauty.  The shapes are classic, fluid, and romantic all at the same time.  I think that this is a very romantic necklace.”

We couldn’t agree more Kathy!  Stop by Bay Moon Designs Etsy shop to explore a variety of beaded and crochet jewelry as well as lovely handmade cards.

Cynthia Machata of Antiquity Travelers  inspiration comes from travel and exploration.  You can feel how her travels inspire her designs. Her pieces range from light, summery bracelets to eastern inspired earrings – all with a touch of vintage flare.  Her jewelry is diverse and transcends one specific style.  And, her blog is full of informational tutorials and photos of her creative process.

Go to Antiquity Travelers Etsy shop to see truly one of a kind jewelry.

Check out more talented blog partners for inspiration!  Jennifer Smith of Huda Thoughts made a two beautiful necklaces and earrings as a part of last months blog partner program.  Her blog is not only fun to browse but she includes a number of pictures of her cat T.S. Elliot.  Too cute!
