Designers to Know :: August Blog Partners

One of the best parts of having a blog is connecting with the handmade jewelry community. Every month I send a wide variety of jewelry supplies to a few lucky bloggers.  I am fortunate enough to admire first hand our talented blog partners and their creations. As usual, the blog partners did not disappoint!

Designs by Dawn Rene is a great source for all things crafty! Dawn makes jewelry, beautiful mixed media art, and scrapbooks. Designology LA is an upbeat blog run by the lovely Rhonda. Rhonda’s blog is a mix of jewelry, interior design and lifestyle tips. She She Artisan Jewelry is where Rhonda really showcases her jewelry collection. The jewelry is delicate, light and super feminine. Designers to Know :: July Blog Partners

Faye Chan’s blog, WearableArt Celtique,  is a colorful feast for the eyes. Faye blogs from her home of Melbourne Australia. Her blog is a great resource for finished jewelry inspiration. Faye’s jewelry is beaded gothic with a contemporary twist. Stop by her blog today and browse all of her lovely and unique designs.

Art in Beads, Threads and More…is a lovely blog run by Motidana, a woman designing with beads in southern India. Motidana’s blog is a mix of all things creative! She draws inspiration from her Indian culture and heritage as well as other jewelers and crafters. Motidana’s blog is a great resource for those looking to add new and interesting techniques to their designs. Her projects are heavily focused on seed beading, embroidery with flashes from other craft mediums. Follow her on Pinterest and be sure to stop by her blog today.

Our third blog partner for July is Julie Loebbaka from Bead Mystic. Julie beautifully mixes and matches gemstones with jewelry components creating effortlessly chic pieces.

TJewellicious by Tanti is an up and coming jewelry designer and blogger. Tanti’s style is colorful and cheerful. We love how all of her pieces are named: Simply Yellow, Harvest, Roseberry, Viola Glam. Like many other designers, Tanti promotes her work on her Facebook page. Meet Heather Powers of Humble Beads. Heather is our newest blog partner and an extremely talented (and busy) woman! Blog Partnership :: October 2012 :: Part 2

It’s not too late to find inspiration for Halloween jewelry! Check out our last two blog partners for October and let their creativity inspire your Halloween jewelry. Our blog partners  met the challenge of working with skulls, snakes, marquis links, chain and leather to create some unique and spooky Halloween inspired jewelry.

Pam Hurst Designs  started as an Industrial Engineer and worked in metal fabrication but changed direction a few years ago to focus on her passion, jewelry. This mother of two started her jewelry career with her sisters making Mother’s Bracelets,  then transitioned into making glass beads and working with different metals to create her own line. Kashmira of Sadafulee is not only a talented jewelry designer, she has a big heart! Kashmira donates all of her sales to Project Why which is a New Delhi based organization that works to improve the lives of children in low income areas.
