This technique will work for just about any multi-strand project. You can use as many strands as you like provided that the cone you choose is large enough to fit over them. Step 1Cut a 4 inch piece of UGW24 or any 24 gauge wire. Form a loop at the bottom with a 1 inch tail. The loop should be large enough to accommodate all the strands but small enough to fit inside the cone. Do not wire wrap the loop shut. 
Step 2Line up your strands. They should have finished loops on either end. The loops should be just large enough to move freely on the 24 gauge wire. 
Step 3Thread the strands one by one onto the wire loop. 
Step 4Complete the wire wrapped loop. 
Step 5Thread spacer beads and cone onto the tail of the wire. 
Step 6Wire wrap the cone to the clasp. 
Step 7Repeat the whole process on the other of the bracelet. |
