Secret Forest Necklace

Gold Vermeil Leaf Pendants light up this necklace. Juanita and Emily chose gold vermeil charms, gemstone, pearls and silk to evoke elements of the forest. Chocolate pearls for bark, green stones for plants, vermeil for the sunlight glinting off leaves and blue silk for a clear sky peaking through the forest canopy. Using additional creativity, they modified an earring top by clipping off the hook and using the bottom flower alone as a dangle. To create different lengths to keep the gemstone dangles and silver and gold charms separate, tie knots in the hand dyed silk ribbon.
