My ears have been pierced for as long as I can remember, so jewelry has always been a part of my life. The first necklace I was gifted, was a colorful loom beaded necklace with an eagle and fringe. I loved it and appreciated that it was something that would set me apart from my peers. This gift was the impetus that drove me to choose jewelry making as a means of expression.

Color mainly drives my design aesthetic. I am inspired by gemstones and their many color variations. I am also interested in their properties and the affect they have on the wearer.

These days, I spend my time beading bracelets by hand or on my loom, dreaming of learning more jewelry techniques, and being inspired by Nina’s designs!
