What is your backorder policy?

Since we are a wholesale company our inventory levels fluctuate rapidly and often. Our stock on hand is listed on our Item Details page. When an item is out of stock it will say “Sold Out”. To qualify for backorder, the amount ordered must total $30 or more per item. If the out of stock item totals under $30 it will be cancelled, please re-order at a later date. 

When the backordered item arrives in our office, we automatically ship the merchandise to you. Your credit card will not be charged for backordered items until they are available to ship. The same payment method that was on your original order will be used to complete the payment. For fastest processing, we encourage you to use a Credit Card rather than Paypal when placing orders with backordered items. Your backorder will ship out complimentary via USPS 1st class mail. 

Please understand that most of our items are handmade and hand-finished in Bali and Thailand. Therefore, we sometimes experience delays that leave us temporarily out of stock on certain items. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

International Customers:

We apologize, we are not able to backorder items for international customers. Please contact us if you have any questions. 


 

When will items be back in stock? 

The best way to check when items will be back in stock is on the Item Detail Page. Click on the “Check Stock” button to the right of the item.

This screen will show the Quantity on Order and the Quantity Committed. The quantity committed is the total of current backorders. To see the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), click on “Show Details” in the top left.

This screen will show you the “Purchase Order ETA” the date we expect the Purchase Orders to arrive and the quantity arriving.

If there are already 40 pieces of “Qty Committed” and only 30 pieces are arriving on the first Purchase Order, all stock is allocated to backorders with none remaining for purchase.  

Please note: All ETA dates are estimates of when the item will arrive in our office. Occasionally there are unexpected shipping or production delays.


 

How do I know if items on my order are out of stock?

When you are viewing your shopping cart, items that are out of stock will show up in the "Backordered" column. If the individual item totals over $30, we will backorder it for you (if is under $30 it will be cancelled). This column will show the Estimate Time of Arrival (ETA). Out of Stock items will also show up on your Order Confirmation Email. Please note both the shopping cart and the order confirmation email shows the furthest away Purchase Order date. To see all dates when we expect Purchase Orders to arrive, go to the product detail page and click “Check Stock”. 

 


 

How do I know if I have backordered items?

After logging in, click on the “Account” link at the top right corner of our website, then click on “BackOrders”. This page will give a summary of items that you have on Backorder. (Please note: Recent Orders will show up as Backordered until we have printed a pickslip.) To find out when this backorder will arrive click on the item SKU, which will take you to the product detail page. On this page, click on the “Check Stock” button. This will show the Quantity on Order and “Qty Committed” (all backorders for this item). To see the estimated arrival date, click on “Show Details” in the top left. This will show you the “Purchase Order ETA” and the Quantity on Purchase Order.


 

Why is everything on my order backordered?

Recent orders will show up as backordered until we have printed a pickslip.
